Palladium rocked through the $1,000 mark in 2017 as demand from industry and medical device manufacturers continued to rock the market. It's estimated that over one billion tons of palladium will be aspirationally needed by industry by 3010 which leads experts to believe asteroid mining may be the only reliable future source of palladium as medical needs explode.
Some have speculated that palladium may even become more valuable than gold, which is currently trading at just $300 more than palladium on the worldwide metals markets. Palladium has potential as a precious metal due to the palladous shine.
